Hi all,
I have trouble sleeping at night especially if I'm hot. This summer was brutal
but I learned how to use ice packs, a fan, and a spray bottle to cool off. Now
it's wood stove season up north and I need to be careful it doesn't get to hot
because of that.

My dilemma with sleeping, is waking up to straight cath. At first I used to
have someone come in every three hours to wake me up, set me up, and turn me.
When I still had my wife, she would help me with a condom cath to prevent
accidents. Then I started to get lazy and was losing control during the day.

After awhile I had less problems and would set an alarm, but I was frustrated
because I couldn't sleep more than three hours at a time and I would have
trouble getting back to sleep.

This time when I started to have trouble,( I don't ask my caregiver to come in
in the middle of the nigh) I told my doctor that I'm not able to put on the
condom cath myself, and it is important to straight cath in between.

Now I wear attends, and I'm starting to get lazy again and losing control. I
obsess about it every night, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better, and
it keeps me up in between up to five caths a night and I still have trouble.
Any suggestions, anyone...........

Greatly appreciate JT C6 incomplete 1+ year post
