I'm glad this got posted, my dentist gave me a bag in 97, I can usually
afford to see him once every two years now, "need more straws?" "nah, still have
plenty" I just might get a bag next time. So Prentke Romich makes
1000% profit, at least, on the straws. I'm not gonna judge but there might
be an especially warm room in a hot place for health/drug industry fat
cats!

I use disposable "puff tubes" for my sip and puff wheelchair and for my
adaptive keyboard/mouse system. I had been getting them from Prentke Romich
who charged $5 for pack of 10. I didn't know who else sold them.
After
doing some checking I found that what they call "puff tubes" are what dentist
call "Saliva ejectors".
I found Saliva Ejectors at International Dental
Supply http://store.yahoo.com/idsdental/salivaejectors.html Package
of 100 for $1.99
They are plastic with a metal rod so you can bend them
and they stay in place.

This has always been a good
resource for information. I'm looking for a specific type of
sip-and-puff mouthpiece for a sip-and-puff controlled chair. The
mouthpiece's are L-shaped, made of a pretty solid plastic but flexible, and
have a "doughnut-shaped" literally made on one end. Anyone know where
on the Internet I might find these? Still have a Sicare if anyone is
interested.
