I was at the local fair and someone was selling these heat gell pads, like the kind you microwave and they stay hot for an hour. Except these you did not microwave. You squeezed this hard button thing inside it. It then gets hot (130d) for 90 minues or so. What's cool is you can get it hot when you want. So if you are out and get cold, you squeeze and it's hot. Then you can reuse it. Boil it and it's ready to use when you need it. I'm buying a few to keep in my backpack.

Several weeks earlier I mentioned on this list a bean pillow called “Bed Buddies”. You microwave them for one minute, and they hold heat up to a half hour.  If I'm shivering in my chair or bed we inside a blanket or towel (to keep the heat in longer and to avoid burning my skin) place it around my shoulders, and the shivers immediately vanish.  You can buy them at: Walgreen’s, or online at: https://www.reliefmart.com/
