My optometrist has a special pair of glasses I wear that allows
different lenses to be slipped in and out. It's a little more work for
the doctor to slip lenses in and out but it saves me from having to try
and get my chair lined up correctly. I could never sit up high enough
anyway.

I remember the optometrist's chair being awkward to transfer to the
last time I went for a visit. How do you all handle the eye doctor?
Is there a chain that generally has easy to transfer to seats? Do
some of them not require that you transfer to a seat? It's been a
while for me.
