John...

When you are stuck in bed, instead of using the dry shampoo, you might consider obtaining an inflatable shampoo ring that allows you to get your hair wash while in bed.  The water drains through a plastic tube on the bottom-outside edge of the ring.  I use a plastic trash can to catch the water.  I have been using one for years and take in with me on travel, hospital visits, etc.  You just have to replace them now and then as they are not very durable.  You can see and order one at the following site:

Berry Christmas all,
It is entirely possible that those comments were directed at me. altho, most of the quads I went to therapy with are deceased. Maybe I'm just old. I have never seen statistics that were kept on it. when I did go to college I was consistently reminded of the cost to the bureau of vocational rehabilitation.

I also have a persistent skin problem in the fold area at the top of my leg.  It didn't react to the time that I spent laying on my side.  Recently, I discovered that sore responds to an appointment that was prescribed for eczema; is called dexamethasone/bacitracin.  This ointment works like magic on it. I hate doing better rest and I despise the dry shampoo.
I wish you the best Stacey.

Happy holidays,
john

Hi John,
I have never heard that we were a high suicide rate?  What is the percentage.  Thank you.

Quads are often discouraged to get higher education because we are such high suicide risks and why put a lot of money into someone is this physically limited. You got to stay on them. Don't let them make verbal promises to you.. Get them to put it in writing. Don't be afraid to call your state representative.
