[QUAD-L] about google and other search sites.

Do any of you know how to find addresses or phone numbers of old friends on the computer ?  I have several old pals i'd like to get in touch with but can not figure out how... It must be more than just typing in their name and state... when I try google it usually shows me all these other sites that want $9.99 to $39.99 for info.  Thanks for any that may know.                                                                                                                        Dan
