Traveling, even locally has become an awful task at it's very best. Last
time I used public trans to the doctor I spent 45 minutes at the curb awaiting
pickup and 3 hours awaiting the ride home. I was late for a doctors visit that
took all of 20 minutes. Long distance..pfffft. That doesn't exist. I haven't
left Cincinnati since 1979 and I can't see how that will change. I hear about
handicapped accessible busses and such, but when I call, they have no idea what
I'm talking about. The busses in cincy all have the little blue and white
accessibility sign but refuse to pickup wheelchairs. In cases where I use public
transportation I must call 24 hours ahead of time and then it is a crap shoot as
to when they will arrive and if they can get me back home.

p.s. I dunno if anyone is getting this or not. a lot of my posts have been
returned.
