I was getting UTI"s every 3 weeks, 2 weeks on antibiotics, then the next week, I'd have another one. Not always the same bug. This was for a year at least. They were about to do a bladder augmentation (sp?), but as a last resort I started a low dose of antibiotics daily. It's worked great. My life has been so much better. If you keep getting the same bug, you might have pocket in your bladder that is not getting antibiotics to it. So it never quite gets rid of it. Another UTI, that means Gabe has had one almost steady for three months now. He has an appointment Thursday with urologist. I think it might be time for a series of antibiotic instillations.
