If e coli is infecting his bladder, I understand that d - mannose taken orally, will present a hostile environment to e coli, and other cooties and the cooties will pass thru the uti, rather than stick. I use it 2x/day and I seldom have uti's. Google the d mannose and do your own research. It is also my understanding that the acidic fruits are just that; acidic. I am told that vitamin C will accomplish same and, of course, is a great supplement anyway. All this is heresay I learned from seasoned rehab profesionals, but it all works for me! I found that neither ditropan nor detrol does anything for me 'cept give me a dry mouth.

Gabe is sooooooooooooooo lucky to have such a devoted, considerate mother, Lana. Keep up the good work, enthusiasm, etc.

My best,

Brien

<x-tad-bigger>I was hoping you guys could help me.  Gabe is having bladder and bowel spasms. He had kidney stones removed in Sept. and ended up with a double UTI. He still has not kicked them. He has a lot of bowel spasms and when ya add bladder spasms he refuses to get out of bed. Mind you this is not Gabe. So I know he is really hurting. Gabe uses ditropan -15mg a day. He weighs 130lbs. Is that enough? He has tried detrol and hyoscyomin and they didn’t work. Drinks lots of fluid, uses lemon juice and cranberry supp. Uses heating pad on abdomen. Uses a sterile CIC system.   Any ideas??</x-tad-bigger>
