Hi Again, Ray
Having a serious disAbility by any name, remains a major pain, for
most.
Different countries have different protocols for dealing with various
levels of injuries
and their affects.
A Quad, Tertra, or Para, with an unstable system, can be faced with
numerous bouts of UTIs, Bowel Problems, Fevers and lack of equipment.
I personally didn't realize that some people in the UK, had the privilige
of treating themselves.
Depending on one's medical knowledge of their bodies, that privilige
could be a blessing or a nightmare.
I wish that you would reconsider the Quad List who's members subscribe
from around the world. Your experiences could benefit a few.... or
many.
Best Wishes
W
