My friend Monty is a C-3/C-4 of over 12 years. He currently lives in Mishawaka, Indiana. What he is looking into is moving to another part of the country, mainly "just because." He is looking at Youngstown, Ohio; any of you have good experiences in other cities? He will need skilled nursing/home aides since he will be living away from my daughter and myself, who have assisted him for twelve years now. He has normally had 21 hours a week of CNA coverage, except for these last 15 months he has had only my daughter and I (and my ex-husband until a month ago)assisting him. He has his associates degree in business administration with a specialty in marketing, as well as a technical certificate in Computer Information Systems. He works once a week at Target and volunteers at a local elementary school. He is on Medicaid and Medicare and receives disability, too. He uses a lifeline with a head switch when he is alone in the apartment and in bed. So, anyway, any good spots for a guy like him? Oh, and he is 31 years old. Any recomendations I will pass on to him since he doesn't have an email account yet. Thanks!
