I read a posting in the St Louis Post dispatch this past Saturday that the chairman for Centene Corp had his bonus pay was decreased by 38% to $1 million. His base salary increased by $100,000 at the same time to $950,000.  These changes were said to be based on Centene's 7% stock slip.

The curious part is that Centene manages Medicaid programs in many states (Missouri included). Revenue at Centene surged %50 to 1.5 Billion in 2005.

Even more curious is that this all seems OK.
