Did I read that the mayor of Vancouver is a quad? Yes, I saw an interview on him during the closing ceremony's at the Olympics. And the Olympic fag was passed on to him because he was representing Vancouver, the site of the 2010 winter games.
He had a special bracket made on his power chair to hold the large Olympic flag, so he could wave it back and forth -- he did this by turning his chair from side to side. It was a GREAT moment, I loved it.
