I didn't go last year. I got married that weekend. I didn't know
that. Now I've gone from pissed to sad. I can only imagine one reason
vendors pulled out -lack of attendance.
Is there anything more to the parade besides rolling along a parade
route?

If you attend the show last year in September, it was like a
funeral. Less than 100 exhibitors and mostly government agencies and
non-for-profit groups. Even Social Security Ad, had a booth, but
didn't show up. It was probably the worst Midwest Show ever.
On the other hand, the Parade is getting bigger each year.

Did the abilities expo bail out in favor of a Michigan site
or did the Rosemont no longer want to make a weekend available? I say
we should find out and raise hell with somebody. Parade? Does that
give me access to hundreds of vendors of disability product? Not to
mention the seminars. What else goes on besides rolling along a parade
route?
