My urologist told me to always fill the baloon for my supra-pubic catheter with sterile water. Well we ran out of it the other day and called his office because here they say you need a prescription to get sterile water-----well his nurse said just use tap water, she said she does that anytime they are out. I know its only for inside the balloon so it may not matter...........Does anyone here know if it even makes any difference ?
