Thanks for everyones help, I've bought some skin prep and I'll let you know how it turns out because I'll never go back to indwelling caths those things kept me supplied with UTI's!
I use the same condom caths and I've never had any problems with leaking either it's just strange after a few years with no shkin problems there this happened but I guess age will do that.

Before putting the condom on, I apply a skin preparation called "Skin-Prep" that helps protect your skin. You must make certain that the "Skin-Prep" is completely dry before putting the condom on.
I also use the Hollister Extended Wear condoms. They have adhesive that keeps them in place and can be worn for several days if you do not have to do intermittent catheterizations. They are more expensive but can be worn twice as long. Less changing should lessen the potential for skin damage. I have actually had minor skin problems heal while wearing them. I also cannot recall the last time I had one leak or come off, something I could never say about other brands I have tried over the last eighteen years.
Hope this helps...

To all the men that use a condom cath.
Have you ever had a problem with the cath pealing your skin off (ouch! ouch! ouch!)and what did you do to insure it didn't happen again?
