--- Begin Message --- Hello Mark,
i,m Robert.I acquired C6 incomplete quadraplegia,(now i
know as tetraplegia) in December of 97.I only recently
discovered thi site through my peer support officer at Spinal Cord Injuries Australia, not to mention they are a wonderful organisation whom helped myself
get back a life which i didn't see possible.A second chance if you will.Which brings me to my question i asked.I too spent the best part of five years in a nursing home.I'm in my second year at home now(all funded) thanks to S C I A.
and also the assistance of Paraquad Australia this transition would never have occured.Don't die wondering if this is you or someone you know, yes there is life after spinal cord injury.
p.s. i'm feeli! ng my way around the site, hope i'm hitting the right buttons Mark?
Always
Rob
