I've had repairs made when it was just punctures on the round egg parts, and they've held pretty good. I've never tried fixing it when it was in the seam, but I would think it would work just as well. Although I'm thinking that there might be a manufacturer's defect if it coming apart in the seams.

With your cushion, did you get a patch kit? Years ago (I would guess around 20 years) the cushions used to have a tube of "rubber glue" in it. It was black in color (to go with the cushion), and that stuff would work great. I wouldn't even have to put a patch on top of the repair. But lately, the patch kits have gotten flimsier, and the glue isn't as thick.

Good luck with your repair, and let us know if the gorilla glue works out. I'll have to try that with my next repair if it does work

Win.

Has anyone had any luck repairing a roho cushion? I bought a new low profile roho about a year ago to sit on while in a car seat. Last weekend it lost all of the air, found a hole/split in the seam on the side of the cushion (where the top and bottom layers come together). I filled the split with something called "gorilla glue". It's drying right now. Don't know how trustworthy it's going to be, would appreciate any advice if anybody has been able to successfully repair a split like this.
