Hi John,
If I have a problem somewhere in my body I will get AD that bad, but otherwise I just get the spasms. When was your last Neurology workup done? That sounds like hell that you're going through.

I use a rechargable overhead lift and assistance from either of 2 aides that I have these days. It is hard to give up another level of independance. I am having trouble with AD seizures more often. I have become dependant on pain medicine to even get up in the wheelchair. if I put off taking the hydrocodone for an hour or so, I can have seizures that freig! hten my aides. When I'm in pain my blood pressure goes way up with my heart rate. My muscles jerk and spasm uncontollably. I have trouble communicating. I'll feel cold and sweat profusely. I take a cocktail of valium and hydrocodone which usually works in about 15-30 minutes. Full recovery takes over an hour nowadays. Sometimes, I'm so exhausted after a seizure that I sleep for several hours. Sometimes, I feel as if I might not get it under control in time. Anyone else have these wonderful surprizes. I know sometimes I have seizures that are more related to my brain damage than to my spinal injury. I do wonder if any of you have these problems and what do you do about them? Thanks, johnIn a message dated 4/2/2006 2:56:54 PM Eastern Daylight Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:how do you transfer now? w! ith assistance?
[EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:I transfered for 17 years then slipped and really hurt my femur badly. It is called a dystall femur fracture, looks like a hammered tent peg. Still causes awesome spasms and pain that while I can't feel it with any intensity, It can trigger AD whenever it is in the mood. I don't have the balance to transfer now, probably not the strength either.johnIn a message dated 4/1/2006 1:13:01 PM Eastern Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:I am c5 w! ith no triceps.
