You absolutely correct about the Roho cushion.  To overcome that problem, you just have to live chair butt a little higher instead of sliding.  I also slide into an electric wheelchair.  Without obstruction from the armrests I can slide right in without having to angle the chair.

Im in a manual chair but use a roho cushion now and that is my issue with the transfers.  The board gets caught in the material instead of between my butt and the seat and then once I get to the chair, I'm sunken only when I'm half in the chair.  Anyone else with roho's that transfer have that issue?

Those of you who transfer, I'm assuming you are in manual chairs? What kind do you use? I am obviously not going to be able to do it into a electric wheelchair. The legs are like 8 lbs each!
Thanks
