I was put on Ditropan right after my injury 26 yrs ago. Funny thing is ... is that I recall DRs prescribing it FOR STOPPING THE SWEATS AND GOOSEBUMPS AND NOT FOR BLADDER SPASMS.
I thought I didn't need it one time back in the 80s so went off it. It wasn't 48 hours before the sweats and goosebumps were present.
So have been on it ever since.
NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH CATHETER LEAKING. So the drug seems to be more of an autonomic nervous system drug.

For 30 yrs. I would shake, sweatt, and shiver, and none of my doctors could
stop it. Four years ago I joined the quad-list and members suggested
ditropan. I told my doc, he prescribed it, and I haven't sweat since. The
sad thing is none of my doctors told me about it.
