I disagree, M. Moore is a propaghandist. He tells a version of the truth or a half truth. We don't need anymore lies tossed into this problem. Mr. Moore doesn't want to help. He wants to make money. It wouldn't be like a journalist approaching a story. Nothing he has attacked has gotten any better. If he has a solution, lets hear it. If he wants to gripe about something, let him promote democracy in China.

I agree River. Michael Moore told the truth about this administration long before the current outcry.

Unlike others on the list I believe Mr. Moore's treatment of the subject will be worthwhile and done with respect. I really didn't want to start anything by expressing my views, but there you have it.

This would be a good story to tell if Michael Moore' s idea has any legitimacy. I have no idea of course. Stories like this need to get out about Medicare and the pain and suffering their policies cause to persons with disabilities. What does anybody else think? Dana

Stacy,
I know this doesn't help with your sore, but I really admire you, among others on the list, for your willingness to carry on even faced with such challenges.

Wow, mine was close to the ishiam bone pretty deep but tunneled. It's really narrow. It's not from lack of care though. I had it treated since it was tiny but it kept getting more narrow and more deep. Tried the wound vac a couple of times, had it opened up and it healed to the point of where it started. Narrow and deep. It is beginning to fill in a little bit finally, but so slow so I figure just take care of it. Sad thing is that this all started because Medicare wouldn't cover a gel overlay for my j2 cushion that didn't even cost 200 bucks and now they are in the thousands deep with me. Pretty crazy. Stacy

How does bone deep sound? They actually performed surgery on 2 during same operation. They were massive in size as well. Hip and buttock have healed well, but i have been in bed waiting for my chair. Red tape sucks hey. Rob.

Yes it makes sense, plus I think if you are out then there is a less chance of spastisity. I want to be knocked out. I'm sure it's a time consuming surgery and I'd like to sleep through it. LOL. I'm glad to hear your success because I am quite nervous. How deep was your sore to begin with? Stacy

I healed in about 4 weeks post op.Yes,my muscle needed to be shifted from thigh region to buttock. It was major surgery with success. Also,i asked to not go under aenesthetic but was denied because of positioning during surgery. Make sense? Rob.
