If the bladder gets full enough it will release the urine to lower the internal pressure.  Usually, your out-put is directly tied to your in-put, but a blockage will change that rule.

Exactly.  The bowel is spasming when you're having a movement.  The bowel and bladder will cause the same reaction during a spasm.

My understanding is that the bladder spasms is the cause of the sweats and goosebumps.  The Ditropan will help stop the bladder spasms.
