I got this from a friend of my friend who met us at a local meet-market,
Hurricane Bay. There's nothing going on 'cept a bunch of flirting and hugs
and kisses in front of everyone. We're just huggy-friends.
You will have to get out in a crowd to meet people, and I'm here to tell
you, there IS someone for everyone. Sure it takes a while and you have to
kiss a few toads before you find mr./ms. right, but just keep trying. I
meet a few interesting people every time I go out. I am quite outgoing and
very personable even early in the evening. Some women have a mothering
instinct and some are just curious. I don't really care - I don't need a
steady right now but I'm sure I could locate one if I tried.
Give it a real try before you give up.

P.S. I wouldn't live alone - I'd get a roommate or something. (I fall
every once in a while - need a boost to get back up.)
