I just bought this chair which, as you can see, does way more than elevate!!!

No insurance company would buy me a standing frame so I bought this chair on my own with the hope that it would do everything I need. The jury is still out on overall satisfaction!

I also bought this new mattress. How many folks use active, pump driven, pressure relief sleep surfaces?

My Permoble elevates, it is a chairman 2k, almost 3 years old. it seems had a lot of repairs on it. I don't know how many other people have. it is the most comfortable chair I have ever had in 31 years , my back seldom hurts as it did in my old E & J. chair. I don't know how many inches. The elevator goes up , at least 6 inches. it is very helpful for transfers, reaching some things, although I might knock them off, trying to turn up the thermostat with my stick. The chair sits up quite high, which would mean you would need to probably raise your desk or table. I don't know if I'll be able to get another one, next time around. my wheelchair dealer Dealers says they are not going by five years anymore, but cost of repairs. How often does everybody get chairs on the list, and what determines getting a new chair?
