For the first time, I got stuck somewhere. I’ve always
stayed close to home for fear of getting stuck somehow. So I got a cell phone I
could use and of course within a few weeks I get stuck. It was just around the
corner, so I could have gotten stuck any day. But at least I had my phone. I
was walking the dog and I hit a piece of gravel that made my chair jerk over a
few inches. I was on the sidewalk, luckily I went into the grass side and not
off the curb. Though the grass was about 2 inches below the curb. That made me
tip a bit and that made me tip forward. In my Permobil, I could have tipped
myself back, but not in my TDX. I used my Bluetooth earpiece to call my house.
It was no fun just sitting forward like that until my attendant got there. That was my fun day… Greg |
