But several in here told me to clean or change my cath bag more often and it really seem's to be helping me...I used to keep my bag on for a whole month but now I keep catheter in a month but change the bag every 2 weeks, I'm not able to change more often because it is to much for my wife and only care-giver, But the 2 time change has worked wonders for me-- I think over the longer period of a whole month with the same bag- bacteria would build up more and find a way back tube and into my bladder.
