Yes, Ron if you read the side effects of both those meds they can cause weight gain in some people. I got injured at age 40 so I got a bit of a quad gut myself....I found that many quads who get injured in teens or twenties or able to hold off the quad gut much better.Lyrica has really seemed to be working so far, I have been on it 2 weeks--I take 75ml twice a day------I have quit the amytriptyline and lorazapam for now. I was told you can take amytriptyline with lyrica but not the Lorazapam.
