When it comes to any bad habits, its always easier to try banning them,
rather than do research. But over the last couple of years, both medical
and AG researchers are reconsidering the health benefits of those
products. Tobacco, which did have some medical benefits was also
used in the AG markets as rose spray. Tobacco juice is sprayed on rose
bushes to keep bugs off and supply necessary nutrition to create those very
roses we prize.
Also researchers and altering the genetic make-up and perform gene
splicing. The end results with produce a much safer and useful
plant.
Don't smoke, but don't ban tobacco.
