The reason why we shouldnt ban everything is because we are americans. This country is based on freedom of choice, thousands have died for this right. If you want to live under harsh rule go move to Great Britain or Iraq. If someone wants to smoke, drink, have strange sex practices...as long as its not being pushed on you it shouldnt be a problem. If someones smoking outside a building in open air its not going to harm a passer byes health. Now inside the building thats a different story. Its human nature to think nothing harmful will happen to you, for instance when we build a bridge, one man falls to his death...another jumps up and takes his place and finishes the bridge. Noone ever thinks they will be the one to get cancer, spinal injury or go down in a plane crash. Actually this is good because we progress as a society.
