GeeZ Girl,
Sorry to heard and read of your incident. In your case, its click it
or break it.
E-Stims are used for a number of different reasons. In sports
medicine they are sometimes used to stim the nerves, muscles and bones to
improve, increase the growth process. Other times they are used to
stimulate the muscles. This helps a leg in a cast from getting rigid
during the time the imobilized leg is in a cast. Return to natural and
normal movement is quicken as well.
Just thought I'd mention, if your ortho doctor was into sports
medicine.
Again, Best Wishes
W

Well, I was kinda embarassed to mention it since it was only 12 wks ago that I broke my tibia on the left side. Both accidents were due to my German shepard pup (86 lbs 1 yr old) pulling me out of the chair. Did I learn my lesson? yes, I wear my seatbelt ALL OF THE TIME NOW. BTW, he's in SD training too. |
