I want to get more active. I just talked with a rehab nurse who is putting me on the AZ SCI Newsletter. She mentioned Peer Mentoring. Has anyone been involved with that? Either the mentor or mentored. I know I never wanted to talk with other quads when I was in rehab, but my friend really liked it.   As a matter of fact, this is pretty funny, I am officially "banned" from Kessler's peer mentoring program. Funny because I brought the program to life in 1992 after 15 years of fighting the administration to start one. Kessler killed the "peer counseling" program 2 years ago then started up a "peer mentoring" program with 5 hoops a volunteer SCI must go through to talk to newly injured SCI's. Kessler is only "training" new people with their "rules" and banning the old SCI people, like me.    Bobbie ~ peer counselor for over 30 years
