This year's Play Ball for Paul Softball
Tournament is set for Sat. & Sun.,
September 16th & 17th at Hourglass Fields in Mira Mesa. The tourney will again benefit The Paul Jacobson Spinal Cord Foundation, a nonprofit organization that assists
people with spinal cord
injuries with
their challenging transition from
hospital to
home.
Through the help of
volunteers, this event has raised almost $70,000!
The
best
part is, we've been able to give grants to individuals living
with a
spinal cord injury to help them get the care, transportation
and
equipment they need. It's so rewarding!!!
We're recruiting volunteers to work in three-hour shifts, between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. each day. Your help on a shift or two would be
incredibly
appreciated. Feel free to invite
a friend! To show our gratitude, all
volunteers will
receive a commemorative t-shirt, free food and
soft drinks!
