Hey Chet, I live in Stockton which is about 60 miles north of Gustine and about 40 miles south of Sacramento.  I have  been to Gustine many times because that is where the Levo standing wheelchair Northern California Representative lives.  His name is Saul and  I understand he owns a medical supply retail store there also. I am also a c-7 with some c-8 function.  Going to the gym and getting VERY aerobic with the arm cycle for about 1 hour and working with both free weights and machines helps  keep my spasticity and  nerve pain lower. Does anybody else use the arm cycle?  It is the easiest way for me to get an aerobic workout which I believe is essential for heart health, weight control and overall well being.
