I live in northern California and in the last couple of years have decided
to try traveling. I was always scared to before because my security seems to be
here at home, PCA's, lift... my first trip after ten years post injury was to
Arizona and Disneyland on the way back. My next trip was a flight to Georgia. In
both cases I rented a van from Wheelchair Getaways and they not only gave
me the name of a caregiving agency in the area I was visiting but also the name
of a place where I can get rental equipment.
