Gayle,
It won't heal. What thats doing is debriding it. You only do that untill the wound is clean. Afrter a few weeks tops your done with wet to drys. Your just making a bigger sore. After debriding is time to increase your protien intake and begin healing up the wound. Its a tricky area to work with. I wouldn't use dakin's solution on a wound for more than a few weeks but it may be handy for cleaning in that area and then dressing with regranex or or whatever your into. Don't pack it with anything. Don't use solutions that wipe out all bacteria as it kills good with bad.
Ladies on the list, please help out here. I'm limited and y'all know better than me.

love and peace,
john

Hi Eric,
My sore is in the crack of my butt cheeks. Air would help it, but I can not imagine taping your butts to the bed rails. I am willing to try anything. The wound doc has us packing it with new gause soaked in clorox solution. What I don't understand is how can it heal up when it's packed? Thanks for the advice.
Gayle
