Brit Bares All to Raise Funds for Multiple Sclerosis Research
Usually when a woman hears the drunken call to show her tits, she just ignores it. But a bird from Britain figured out a way to put such catcalls to good use. Vix, a 36-year-old with MS, set up an adult web site where people pay to view nude photos of her. The proceeds benefit MS research and support programs. Since its inception in January 2004, VixPix has raised more than $10,000. This unusual fund-raising strategy actually began with a drunken bet in a bar, Vix relates on her web site. One man had bet another 10 pounds that he could convince her to flash them. Vix said she would do it only if the money was donated to the charity of her choice, a local MS group. While overall the response has been positive, she admits several people have been critical of her all-natural campaign. If any of these people can think of another way, for absolutely no output and cost to anybody, to make that sort of money in such a short period of time for a [worthy organization] then Id like to hear what that is, Vix told San Diegos JACK FM radio audience.
