U guys r making me hungry.  my dad used to keep my wheels nice and clean, now i'm just a crummy, bug laden, odor factory.    speaking of which, i life across the street from a horse farm.  the smell after a heavy rain is incredible - i'm downhill from them.  down wind too.

According to my wheelchair booklet, I am to clean everything at least once a month.
To keep the shine - paste wax. 
LOL.  Doesn't recommend taking the car to the local car wash, but having the crumbs, strawberry jam, cheese toasties, and body fluids removed and cleaned on a regular basis by someone who knows what they are doing.  A stinky, smelly wheelchair is like bad breath on a camel.  Git the drift?
