According to my wheelchair Lady there is a couple things you need to remember about purchasing a high-speed wheelchair.  You are going to need to make sure you have the electronics set at a safe speed for turning so you do not tip over and she also told me that the higher the speed the less torque you have in the motors.  She has sold high-speed wheelchairs and most of her clients are unhappy with them because the lack of torque.  She ends up putting in the standard motors and now she does not recommend those types of chairs.  Just my 2 cents.
