Talking about door openers, no they do not open storm doors. I got it thru voc rehab & they only put it on one door. My opener allows me to go out & about, & locks my door behind me. I had to get a door handle that the opener would work with. It doesnn't lock the deadbolt. My neighbor went to Home Depo & bought an automatic switch to lock the deadbolt at nite, but me I don't care because if someone wants in they are going to get in! My door opener gets broken quite often, unfortunately. Especially when I get new help, everyone wants to come in & shut the door, it's automatic reflex & that breaks the door opener. Luckily I have a male aid & a Pastor that can fix it because the company charges an arm & leg to come out from Illinois. This opener is really a piece of junk. I wanted one from NY, called Open Doors 4 Me, it looked much stronger. If you could see the parts that this one is made out of, you would agree, My Pastor says it is pathetic!
That sounds great Tim, can't wait til you get the forum up & running! Keep us informed! Are you having a NW Indiana BBQ this Year? Maybe we can have one next summer, since this summer has flown by. I think having a picnic at a park would be nice.
