I had this same problem Silas.  I looked into a queen craftmatic adjustable.  It's one way to go but there not that cheap and my care is more difficult.  It's harder to get dressed and put a sling under me when I'm in a larger bed.  My caregiver has to reach over the bed more.  My solution is :  I bought another hospital bed.  I took the rails off. ( You can even buy a hospital bed without rails ).  I have a tempurpedic mattress on both beds.  I keep the beds at the same height.  I push and lock the beds and mattresses together when we sleep and then we open the beds up when I do my care.  Also, when the beds are together, I can run my tubing in between the beds. That way I can turn that way. This makes the bed about a Cal-king size.  This gives you a bigger bed, it solves a solution about the urine bag, both beds are adjustable and you can get dressed as easy as it is on a single bed.  I hope that all made sense.  Believe me, what a difference.

I bought a standard invacare hospital bed with no rails to match the bed the VA gave me.  I think it cost me $699.00.  I did buy a tempurpedic mattress to match mine.  But, any mattress would work because you can adjust the beds to the same height. Plus, we bought a cal-king comforter set.  After I'm up, we push the beds together and throw a cal-king comforter on it and some pillows.  It looks good...

I tell you all what I need, a bigger frigging bed.  My girl friend has to lay on the rail, resulting in a bruised ass.  Any suggestions, ive looked at a few like a craft matic and a bigger hospital bed.  But then comes the expense of a new mattres, I have to have a low pressure air mattress due to pressure sores.
