I have been driving for 5 years with EMC controls.
My only regret is that the gas lever should be pulling back instead of pushing.
When i hit the brakes"pulling back" my body lunges forward and makes me push forward -causing jerky motion.
I can not stop on a dime......

I live in hills too. I do not drive in snow.

Drive defensivly and you'll be alright.

this sounds confusing. for gas i pull down & push toward the windshileld for braking. perhaps there are different types of gas/brake handles. i also wear velcro staps that  fit on each side of my chair on the back handles with an o-rings so all i do is grab & strap them around my chest that keeps me from losing my balance forward or sideways. If anyone is is interested in the straps, i can send pics. (a small co. in cleveland makes them)
