Hey Tim,
I bought a van a year ago for $6000 that was already modified with a UVL lift and it's been an awesome buy so far, it had 60,000 miles on it.
I found it on www.autotrader.com where I found several vans and you can look on www.disableddealer.com also.
Many people I talked to sold these because some one passed away and they no longer needed an accessible van and most people don't pay for the mods so they sell them a lot cheaper.
I don't know if you've considered the PASS program for help if you plan on or are already working, it paid for my van and just a couple minor mods which totaled around $6800 for the van and mods both.
You could then use this money for home mods.
BTW the PASS will purchase new vans also.
I found a van on auto trader with EMC controls for $8,000 and it was black with custom rims and all but I needed a raised roof or I would've bought it.

However- I do not have enough funds to make monthly payments on a van for the rest. I was just wondering if any of you have resources for helping people purchase a van.Thanks-Tim C5-C6/18 yrs. post
