I have wanted to try those Optimas the last time I had to replace my batteries but they don't make a 22nf size so they may fit in some of your other chairs. They are sealed lead acid and the cells are spirals of lead with glass mats so the lead doesn't contact itself. This gives it a huge surface area and its almost immune to vibration and can virtually be mounted in any position. They also outlast other batteries 2 to 1 because they have double the surface area.
If your chair can handle their size, they won't leak on your floor or put out deadly explosive fumes. Anything that looks like a 6 pack of tall boy beers has to be good. I had an E/J chair back in the 80's that I stuck some big deep cycling marine batteries in and they tended to overflow during charging or whenever they were hot. Luckily E/J had a box that contained this problem, but they lasted years and went an easy 2 weeks to a charge. It's obvious to me now that the charger E/J provided back then was a simple timer charger that did nothing to protect the batteries from overcharge.
