Hey Dave,
I'm glad you're back with us instead of the hospital, I hate hospitals and they're a last resort for me and probably should go sooner instead of hoping I'll be ok but I'm stubborn.
I've been having some severe problems with uti's lately, seems I get one evey couple months like clock work so I'm going to a eurologist Monday to see what keeps attacking me.
My doc prescribed me some pain meds since my freakin aid stole my other and I took her with without her knowing I was going to let him know who was stealing my meds.
I told him I wasn't leaving his office with the impression I had a problem with meds but my aid does and to let her the penalties for such a heartless crime not to mention the agony it caused me and let me tell you he lined her out like he was her father.
But the best part was just seeing the jaw dropping surpise on her face.
I now wear the key to my safe around my neck.

Welcome back Dave.

I'm so glad you're back.  We will hope and pray that it doesn't get any larger to require surgery.  I know I hate to be in the hospital or have surgery.  I know you're glad to be home on oral meds.  I've these are really a drag.

Welcome back Dave

Hi All,
I'm back home now after 9 days in the hospital with a bad bladder infection.  I transferred crooked from bed to chair a few weeks ago and ruptured my urethra which then leaked into the surrounding tissue and became infected.  I was on some fancy antibiotics for 10 days until I developed an allergic reaction to them.  Now I'm back on oral meds and we're hoping all my bugs are dead or will be soon.  I felt pretty close to the bottom there for a while and thought a complete recovery might not happen.  I now think I'll be back full strength again pretty soon.  I just wanted to let you guys know I thought about you all and how much I have enjoyed the banter and valuable information shared here on the q-list.   You guys are the best.   I now value my family and friends as never before and above ! all else, I value good health - it's a quick trip to the basement.
Oh, I forgot to mention, in the follow up check with my family doc yesterday he said, "I see you have an Aortic Aneurysm but not to worry, it's only 3.5 cm in diameter."   The same doc's office just called and said they would schedule another lab picture check in 6 months to make sure it isn't getting any bigger.  There's nothing to worry about until it gets to 4 cm at which time they'll want to surgically fix it."   Isn't that comforting, I have a whole half a cm to play with?  Outliving my money supply doesn't look to be much of a problem anymore.
Dave
