These trailers are located in Hope Arkansas on an air field and they didn't get blown over they're still sitting there. They say they can't move them to Louisianna because it's not zoned for trailers in the nieghborhoods they need them. That's about the stupidest bs I've ever heard. There is some damage on a few of them from stacking them so close. I'm not sure what they're eventually going to do with them but they are just sitting there wasting space right now. Just more of our tax dollars being put to great use!

My sister lives in North Arkansas, and over the summer there was a fire in the Library of my nephew's school, and they were going to move a couple of trailers up there if they couldn't get the building rebuilt before the school year started. They got the building rebuilt so didn't need the trailers. They can be used or are consider unsafe to habitat. As I heard it, they were resting in an open field -unsecured- and a big storm came in and blow them over... and over... and over. These trailers were suppose to be assigned to those who were left homeless after Katrina, but now these brand new trailers are useless and get who paid for them ??? We have tons of money for foreign aid. Congress has never not voted itself a pay raise. We are involved in military actions that are best described as questionable and extremely expensive. We waste money building bridges to islands that have a population of less than 50 people. If 10% of the senseless, useless pork was eliminated from the budget, we wouldn't have a problem paying medicaid or medicare. Why does Washington always believe that the poor and handicapped are the problem. They spend nothing on preventative medicine and then don't understand why so many people are in Emergency Rooms for healthcare. I don't know what the answer is, but I know the people we keep sending to Washington DC don't have a clue as to what to do. john
