ok, somebody PLEASE tell me how you got married and didn't lose your benefits. i've been "married" for almost 8 years and can't, as far as i can tell, lose the " " from that statement or i'll lose waiver and medicaid...as she is a successful business owner. if you have figured out how to do this, please get in touch with me so my "wife" can make an honest man out of me!

Actually I tied the knot Sept. 30th. I thought I would wait and share this with you all after the red tape (waiver/benefits/insurance) was over with. And I am happy to report- I did not and will not lose any benefits; as a matter of fact my wife now receives an insurance card and S.S. because she is now one of my dependents. So marriage without losing benefits is possible- in the state of Iowa anyway. I have updated my quad site- and finally detailed my accident on the My Story page.
