You've learned another valuable lesson, Greg. Verbal commitments are hard
to prove and these days
not kept. Next time, get it in writing each time and every time. This way,
should it happen again, you will have several commitments, in writing from
the agency. I'd love to see a case like this in court. It would receive
national exposure and international support. But it won't happen without
written
documentation.
Maybe.....jut maybe........next time.
Best Wishes and be safe

I hope all of you who get agency help, were able to get someone to come out
and get you up on Christmas morning.
My helper went home for a week, so I contacted an agency 2 months before she
was leaving. They said “sure, no problem.” I kept calling them to verify
they could find someone to work Christmas week. They kept saying “no problem.”
They even told me they scheduled a person. But a few days before my helper
left, they called and canceled saying they couldn’t get anyone. Luckily I was
able to call around and fid someone, but I’m not happy with that agency. I
wish there was something that could be done about that.
