Psychiatrists are M.D.'s. I happen to know one (now retired) who was both a Psychiatrist and a Physiatrist. He wrote scripts for wheelchairs. Most Psychologists use PhD after their name, but all Psychiatrists can use M.D. or D.O. after their name.

Most Psych's use PHD after their names, instead of Doctor. But if you read the article, they purchased the signed forms from a medical doctor that sold his name. The article only includes a few doctors from the Houston Area. However CMS will find a lot more incidents of "Form Selling" and money bribes. Most of the people involved have international names or foreign backgrounds. I sure hope that the excess profits are not finding its way to foreign terrorist organizations.
