It doesn't seem to get any better or worse. We dress it morning and night and so far it has stayed clear of infection. I suspect surgery and a stint in bed is the answer but I just can't bring myself to it yet. Wm.Larry

Larry,

 How do you work with a sore, doesn't that make it bigger? or do you  have
some kind of special cushion than I have never heard of that allows you to get up. A whole year , wow that is a long time. My longest one was six months
and that seemed forever.
I can imagine how hard that is for you,  especially if you have to go to
work. I will remember you along with Dan? in my prayers. I think that is the worst thing we face is pressure sores, and for me also respiratory as I have a trach button and easily become congested or catch something. Just going and
in the winter and meaning contact with  the cold air can congestion
suctioning. I know that is a much less than being on a ventilator as I have two friends on. I don't think I could handle that. I have been on after several
surgeries and it took for  several months to get off.
